Active ingredients: 1% Granactive Retinoid (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, HPR) — a modern, stable fourth-generation retinoid that directly activates retinoic acid receptors (RAR) in the skin. Patented raspberry stem cells — increase levels of ceramides and hyaluronic acid in the epidermis and dermis, support restoration of the skin’s protective barrier. 15 nourishing oils (almond, jojoba, rosehip, macadamia and others) — rich in omega fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. How to use: In the evening warm 2–3 drops of the oil in your hands and gently massage into cleansed skin of the face, neck and décolletage. The product can be used alone or add a few drops to your moisturizer. The oil is suitable for short facial massage (up to 10 minutes). After the oil, apply HydraFusion Hydrating Gel Cream or SuperBiotic Regenerating Cream.

1. If you are using retinol for the first time, start with twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to daily use.
2. If the skin is accustomed to the ingredient, the oil may be used daily or alternated with X-Strength Retinol Serum.
3. Always use SPF50 in the morning.
4. For sensitive skin, do not combine with acids in the same routine to avoid irritation.
5. If the skin is resilient and non-reactive, the oil may be combined with acid products to boost retinol activity.
6. If the skin is sufficiently moisturized after the oil, an additional cream is not required.

Warnings and storage: Products containing retinol or retinoids must not be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding or when planning pregnancy. Consult a physician before use. Store the product at room temperature (up to +25°C) in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Avoid contact of the product with mucous membranes and eyes. Do not apply retinoid products to the mobile eyelid.

To support skin recovery after retinoids, use the soothing SuperBiotic Regenerating Cream or the hydrating HydraFusion Hydrating Gel Cream. They help maintain skin balance, reduce the risk of irritation and increase retinoid effectiveness. After using retinoids in morning or daytime routines, always use an SPF 50 sunscreen.

Products with acids and retinoids may cause temporary redness or irritation — this is an individual skin reaction. INSTYTUTUM formulas have high concentrations of active ingredients. To minimize irritation risk, introduce new products gradually, starting 2–3 times per week. Recommendations are based on using products within the INSTYTUTUM line. Combining with products from other brands may increase sensitivity and cause unpredictable reactions.

If you plan to use acids and retinol together, start with acids 2–3 times per week, and after 10–14 days, if no irritation occurs, add retinoid products. In case of an adverse reaction, discontinue use of the active product for 2–5 days, then reintroduce it gradually into your routine.

After starting use of products with active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C), the skin may temporarily react with breakouts, flaking or irritation — this is a purging process indicating activation of cell renewal and detoxification. It usually appears 2–3 weeks after beginning active ingredients and can last up to 9–10 weeks; therefore do not change your skincare routine abruptly and give the skin time to adapt. If the skin condition significantly worsens and the reaction does not subside, consult a dermatologist or cosmetologist.
