A chemical peel for daily use combines 5.6% glycolic acid, 3.5% lactic acid, 0.51% citric acid and 0.5% salicylic acid with provitamin B5 and 5% niacinamide for maximum regeneration.

The pads stimulate collagen synthesis and cell renewal and help correct skin discolouration. Purslane extract has powerful soothing properties, reduces redness and acts as an antioxidant, leaving the skin smooth, strengthened and renewed.

- How should exfoliating pads be used correctly for maximum results?

In the evening, wipe cleansed, dry skin on the face and neck with one pad, avoiding the eye area, and do not rinse. Initially use 1–2 times a week, gradually increasing the frequency to 2 times a day. Always apply SPF in the morning.

- Are Resurfacing Multi-Acids Pads suitable for sensitive or irritation-prone skin?

Yes, but we recommend starting at the minimum frequency of 1–2 times a week to reduce the risk of skin irritation. Thanks to soothing and hydrating ingredients, the pads provide renewal without aggressive action; however, hypersensitive skin should be given more time to adapt.

How to use: Wipe clean, dry skin of the face and neck with a pad, avoiding the eye area. Leave to absorb; do not rinse. Immediately follow with serum and cream. We recommend starting 3 times a week and increasing to twice daily. If sensitivity occurs, return to the previous frequency, give the skin time to adapt, then try again. Do not combine in the same routine with retinol or other acids, especially if skin is sensitive. For sensitive skin you may use half a pad. The product contains AHA and BHA acids; therefore, during daytime you must use a high-protection sunscreen (e.g. Sunscription Dark Spot Defence SPF50) with a high sun protection factor (SPF 30 or higher), because the product contains alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids.

Warnings and precautions: During pregnancy or breastfeeding consult a physician before using Resurfacing Multi-Acids Pads. Store the product at room temperature (up to +25°C), in a dry place protected from direct sunlight. During sunny periods apply SPF50 sunscreen every morning before going outdoors. Evening care should finish without SPF products. Products containing acids and retinoids may cause temporary redness or irritation — this is an individual skin reaction. INSTYTUTUM formulas contain a high concentration of active ingredients. To minimize the risk of irritation, introduce new products gradually, starting 2–3 times a week. Recommendations are based on using products within the INSTYTUTUM line. Combining with products from other brands may increase skin sensitivity and cause unpredictable reactions. If you plan to use acids and retinol together, start with acids (2–3 times a week), and after 10–14 days, if no irritation occurs, add retinoid products. Suspend use of the active product for 2–5 days, then gradually return to the routine. After starting products with active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C) the skin may temporarily react with breakouts, flaking or irritation — this is so-called purging, indicating activation of cell renewal and detoxification. It usually appears 2–3 weeks after starting treatment and may last up to 9–10 weeks; during this time do not change the routine abruptly and give the skin time to adapt.

Storage: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
