INSTYTUTUM X-strength Retinol Serum - intensive retinol rejuvenating serum 30 ml

Active ingredients: 8% Retinoid Complex: 5% Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR) — a stable retinoid form that effectively reduces wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and inflammation without irritation. 8% Retinoid Complex: 3% blue‑green algae extract — a natural source of retinoid‑like compounds with barrier‑supporting and anti‑inflammatory action. Peptide P3 — activates epidermal cell renewal, improves skin texture and density.

Hydration & barrier support: Multimolecular hyaluronic acid + 3% squalane — intensely hydrate, support the skin’s hydro‑lipid barrier, reduce dryness and discomfort.

Soothing & regeneration: Provitamin B5, allantoin, vitamin E and apricot kernel and grape seed oils — soothe, reduce irritation and accelerate skin regeneration.

Directions for use: Apply a few drops of serum to cleansed skin of the face, neck and décolleté in the evening. Do not apply to wet or heated skin. After the serum, apply a moisturizing cream‑gel HydraFusion Hydrating Gel Cream or the regenerating SuperBiotic Regenerating Cream. In the morning always use Sunscription SPF50 sunscreen before sun exposure.

1. If you are using retinol for the first time — start twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to daily use.
2. If your skin is already accustomed to retinoids — you may use the serum daily or alternate with Powerful RetinOil.
3. For maximum results use together with Advanced Retinol Toner — this provides a full renewal and regeneration cycle.
4. For sensitive skin do not combine with acid‑containing products in the same routine to avoid irritation. If skin is tolerant, you can combine the serum with acids to boost retinol efficacy.
5. For non‑sensitive skin — if the skin is sufficiently hydrated after the serum, you may skip the cream and perform the regeneration step in the morning.
6. Do not use retinol products during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a physician before use.

Tips: Intense action of the retinoid complex (vitamin A) without typical side effects. Dermatologically tested, shows little or no skin irritation. For best results, recommended to use together with Resurfacing Glow Toner.

Usage and precautions: During pregnancy or breastfeeding consult a physician before using this product. If a negative reaction occurs stop using the product for 2–5 days, then gradually reintroduce it into your routine. If you plan to use acids and retinol simultaneously — start with acids (2–3 times per week); after 10–14 days, if no irritation occurs, you may introduce retinoid products.

Store the product at room temperature (up to +25°C) in a dry place protected from direct sunlight. During sunny periods apply SPF50 every morning before going outside. Evening care ends without SPF products.

Products with acids and retinoids may cause temporary redness or irritation — this is an individual skin reaction. INSTYTUTUM formulas contain high concentrations of active ingredients. To minimize the risk of irritation, introduce new products gradually, starting 2–3 times per week. Recommendations are based on use of INSTYTUTUM line products; combining them with products from other brands may increase skin sensitivity or cause unforeseen reactions.

After starting use of products with active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C) the skin may temporarily react with breakouts, peeling or irritation — this is purging, indicating activation of cell renewal and detoxification. It usually appears after 2–3 weeks from the start of use and may last up to 9–10 weeks; it is important not to change the skincare routine abruptly and to allow the skin to adapt. If the skin condition significantly worsens and the reaction does not subside, consult a dermatologist or cosmetologist.
