Bakuchiol in cosmetics – a natural alternative to retinol

Bakuchiol is a plant active ingredient extracted from seeds Psoralea corylifolia (Babchi) which works similarly to retinol but without the risk of irritation. It is valued for its anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, thanks to which it works well in the care of sensitive, mature and acne skin.

How does bakuchiol work?
