Key ingredients — the "master switches" of metabolism: Gynostemma pentaphyllum, the “herb of immortality,” is growing in popularity because it is believed to help stimulate AMPK, a molecule that acts as the “master switch” of metabolism. AMPK senses and responds to low ATP levels, the cellular energy supplier. It activates processes in cells and mitochondria to accelerate the conversion of food into energy. It helps enhance the action of sirtuins — proteins considered to be an elixir of youth. Choline is an important component of cell membranes, supports normal lipid metabolism and helps maintain healthy liver function and cognitive functions.

Key ingredients — “more energy, less appetite”: Chlorogenic acid (green coffee extract) is a polyphenolic compound found in coffee beans; it is extracted from raw beans that have not been processed or roasted and contains a small amount of caffeine (0.2%). Studies show it helps lower and maintain normal blood sugar levels, which leads to reduced appetite. Other studies have shown that chlorogenic acid also stimulates production of glutathione and vitamins C and E in the body.
